A very approachable Azure Damselfly. Getting a good view of the markings on the first 2 abdominal segments where the body meets the tail at the wing bases (in this case a dark ‘U’ shaped mark) is the best way to separate male blue damselflies. The markings on the side of the thorax are also useful.
