On this workshop we retreated back to the car to shelter from the rain. After 10 minutes or so we ventured back out to walk along the causeway which was being revealed by the falling tide. An obliging gap in the cloud at the horizon allowed evening light to illuminate the underside of the rain clouds and we were treated to an intense orange glow. The water level was too high to reveal the low water channel but the channel did create a lovely s-curve of darker rippled water the shape of which mirrored the intense orange rain clouds above.
