This is a view across Harnham Water Meadows towards Salisbury Cathedral. While the sun was still below the horizon a gap in the clouds allowed the sun to illuminate the undersides of the clouds creating these remarkable colours. As soon as the sun broke the horizon, however, it was blocked by the clouds and the light show was over.
