Dunstanburgh Castle

The wind was now so strong it was whipping up froth at the waters edge and making conditions very difficult. I had real difficulties with greasy salt water on my filters and my cloths didn’t seem to be helping, they just smeared the grease around. Eventually after some vigorous rubbing I managed to get them clean and venture right out into the water’s edge to get some dramatic shots. I could see the waves racing in towards me and expected to be swept off my feet. The waves crashed into my wellies but thankfully I felt quite secure and so kept shooting.
