Bamburgh Castle

In order to see the castle reflection I needed to lie flat on the ground with my camera resting on the rocks. The relatively long focal length of 44mm means that it’s not possible to have the foreground in focus as well as the castle even at f16 (or f22 for that matter). If I hadn’t been so uncomfortable and nervous of the waves to my left I may have made time to focus stack several images to increase the depth of field.
