I haven’t had the opportunity to photograph Beautiful Demoiselle much before and so I was pleased that this individual perched nicely for me. Compared to Banded Demoiselle they are found on faster flowing streams with sand or gravel bottoms like here at Latchmore Brook in the New Forest.
