I planned a November visit to Corfe Castle in the hope of just the right amount of mist. On my first visit mist was forecast but there was too much and it was better described as low cloud and fog, I left an hour later without having seen the Castle! On the return journey a few days later it became clear that there would be no mist at all although on arrival I could see a cloudy sky and an exciting clear band at the eastern horizon. As the sun neared the horizon it lit the undersides of the waiting clouds and a textured scarlet sky developed above me, this shot was 15 minutes before sunrise.
