Crackington Haven

I met up with Ross Hoddinott for an evening shoot at Crackington Haven, a location I’d like to include on future North Cornwall workshops. Under clear skies we very nearly postponed until the next evening. It’s quite a narrow beach with the imposing Pencannow Point blocking our view and so we couldn’t see whether there were clouds on the way. We delayed a while and thankfully some clouds did drift into position and the mid to high tide meant that some lovely fins were exposed as twilight came. A shutter speed of 3 seconds as the wave advanced gave me the nicest water trail.
