Dunstanburgh Castle

After breakfast on day 2 of the Northumberland Workshop we headed out to Dunstanburgh Castle and the boulder field at Embleton Beach. This southward looking view is the classic viewpoint although it appeared that the recent storms had washed the boulders higher up the beach, no mean feat! The light around lunchtime isn’t great but I was pleased with my long exposure image here. The imposing rectangular turreted Lilburn Watch Tower is visible on the headland.
