Longstock Eel Traps

I can only get out with my camera at the weekend and so it’s inevitable that I often go out when I know the light and the weather forecast isn’t great. This was the case on this Saturday morning in mid May. I had planned a drive along the River Test looking for compositions and as the forecast was for cloud cover I thought I would make it a leisurely drive and move between as many different locations as possible. I would make the first stop dawn at Longstock eel traps. Unfortunately there was no mist although it’s such a picturesque spot that a nice photo is usually achievable.
