Ibsley Common

As I got to the lone Pine tree at Ibsley Common I noticed a modest amount of mist in the valley to my right. I quickly abandoned the idea of photographing the tree against flowering heather and I began to look for compositions which concentrated more on the misty valley. This shot is my favourite and it shows how the mist continued to roll down the valley to our right. The sun is trying to break through the cloud and there is a small white house just appearing from behind the trees and below a long trail of mist.
