With the forecast for frost I usually head into the New Forest. My favourite pond didn’t have the ice patterns I was hoping for and so I decided to include the fringe of frosty grass. Frosty nights often coincide with completely clear skies and so I was pleased to see that there was a hint of wispy cloud fairly low on the eastern horizon and as hoped some lovely colour spread across the sky in front of me.
