Porth Nanven beach is at the bottom of Cot Valley in West Cornwall. It’s also known as ‘Dinosaur Egg Beach’ because of the remarkable set of smooth boulders covering the beach. They are the work of the sea 120,000 years ago and the next set of smooth boulders are suspended half way down the eroding cliff at the back of the cove.
