A mid tide at dawn at St Michael’s Mount. Because this viewpoint looks south you hope for either rich side lighting from the left at sunrise or perhaps pre-sunrise colour spreading across into the southern sky. Alternatively, as on this occasion, you can settle for lovely soft and diffuse lighting with an interesting sky.
