Clavell’s Pier, Kimmeridge

I knew from previous visits to Kimmeridge that tide levels would be about right for some of my favourites ledges and also for Clavell’s Pier just around the eastern end of the bay. After shooting the ledges and rock pools and with the sun setting towards the north west we ventured around to Clavell’s Pier so that we could line up a shot to include some colour from the setting sun. A shutter speed of 8 seconds was achieved with a 3-stop solid filter in the final few minutes of the day.
