Cot Valley at the western tip of Cornwall ends at the small beach of Porth Nanven. Here foreground interest is in abundance with the lovely smooth boulders and a fantastic focal point is provided by the Brissons a mile out to sea. There is a huge boulder to the left of the beach which often features in compositions here but as tide levels drop below 2.5m the water is too low to include this boulder and so I usually venture to the right hand side of the beach. Once in position we were treated to a lovely sunset.
